How boat and jet ski financing works with us
- Apply online in minutes. Tell us what you're after and a bit about your work and income.
- We do the legwork. We take your application to our lending partners and search our network of 57+ partner dealers and wholesalers for the exact boat or jet ski you want.
- Get on the water. Pick the deal that works for you, sign, and we ship it to your door anywhere in Canada.
Before you hit the water
- Proof of competency. In Canada, you need proof of competency, such as a Pleasure Craft Operator Card, to operate a motorized boat or a jet ski.
- A pleasure craft licence. Boats with motors of 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) or more need one from Transport Canada.
- Insurance, a trailer, storage and safety gear, like life jackets and the other equipment your boat is required to carry.
Frequently asked questions
Can I finance a used boat from a private seller?
In many cases, yes. Let us know when you apply. You'll usually need a bill of sale and proof that the boat has no money owing on it.
Can I finance the trailer with the boat?
If you're buying a trailer at the same time, tell us when you apply and we'll let you know whether it can be included.
Do I need a down payment?
Not always. Some buyers qualify with $0 down. A down payment or trade-in can lower your monthly payment.
